![]() ![]() To them sacrificing their life or nen for the king isn’t anything while to gon it actually means something and that might be why he won.CarrotCesca, Gearded Fandoms: Hunter X Hunter My only possible guess is because of the lack of true experience and only instinct and without the anger that gon had been sitting on the sacrifice may not have been enough. The thing that bothers me is how is that more powerful than the inborn desire of Pitou to protect the king that’s in their dna not a choice or desire but what is plus the bonus of death nen. He’d be far stronger than in his prime because he’d know more and have more talent and abilities on top of his physical peak plus the anger and power of that in his nen. It’s like taking all the skill and knowledge of netero now and putting him in his prime body. It’s all the experience all the talent all the growth he could’ve done in his entire life not just a few decades plus the loss of his nen. So that’s why it’s beyond what he’d do in his prime. Otherwise he would’ve just sacrificed 20 years or something and been that old. Gon may look 30 something but he definitely sacrificed more than 2 decades but his entire life plus the ability to use nen ever again. It was his personal hate and anger that pushed beyond those limits. And I’m not doubting that gon sacrificed his life to reach his prime, I actually think it was more than that because of his specific hate against Pitou it’s beyond anything he could’ve done no matter how hard or long he trained because at the rate gon was going he wouldn’t be that powerful. Yes but if you look at the royal guards their feats just at brith a few weeks old are far beyond what gon did. But I never said it couldn’t reach meruem I just still don’t know if it could beat him definitely bot post rose but even pre rose considering he was holding back against netero the entire fight. Plus he gave up his nen and the anger against pitou allowed that. ![]() Prime netero didn’t have the 100-Type Guanyin Bodhisattva or zero hand because that was only reached after his training consecutively for years punching in the mountains. It’s like taking the knowledge skill and abilities netero has now and putting that in his prime body would be far more than netero was at that time in his prime. But yeah it may be more than it looks because if he just sacrificed a few decades I don’t think it would’ve been as drastic of an affect. He sacrificed up to his prime physically but also everything after that. At the rate he’d going gon would never have reached that. And combining all of it into one moment is far more than if he just trained and went to that age naturally. And even though he looked 30 or something he’s used up far more than a few decades of power but all his power and potential. ![]()
